In general a good diet should compromise of -:
1 Whole grains like wheat,brown rice,Jowar,bajra,Ragi,oats,quinoa etc
2 Fruits and vegetables
3 Nuts
4 Good sources of protein like meat,eggs,milk,curd,paneer,all form of daals etc
5 Good oils like olive,canola,mustard etc
6 Less in sugars and saturated fats
7 Less in junk food
8 Adequate calories should be present in diet(for female it's 1800 and for male it is 2000)
9 Should have some form of omega-3 in diet like flaxseed,walnuts,fish etc
10 Should supplement wherever necessary (for ex- adequate dose of vitamin D should be supplemented by majority)
